WWPM MediaNet, in affiliation with Heartland Internet Media Networks, are looking for qualified applicants for an ADVERTISING SALES REPRESENTATIVE. Duties include contacting businesses to acquire advertising in three levels: locally, regionally and nationally; overseeing the majority of advertising sales, except affiliate sales and website ads and maintain current clientele as well as gaining potential leads as clients.

Applicants must have at least 1 year experience in advertising sales. Advertising sales experience in Internet radio is preferred, but not required.

This position will be work-from-home and is considered an internship. Position hire reports all updates and sales to General Management. Position may upgrade to a paid internship or a PT/FT position should the opportunity arise.

Duties include being responsible for searching for music to submit for rotation, contacting bands via social media to get concert dates in IL, MO, IA and IN, assisting with setup of concert events sponsored in part by the station and help with acquisition of tickets to concert events for contest giveaways.

Applicants are not required to have experience, but prior experience as a music director for radio is preferred.
